3 things that drive me nuts about grocery store clerks:
1. when they act a little too interested in the food you're buying
2. when they're chatty with everyone in front of you and you're in a hurry (especially when the conversation is about Dungeons and Dragons and Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
3. when they look at you judgementally because you have let your toddler open many of the snacks you're buying in order to keep him from getting bored.
...experienced all three this week

Ha!!! I get # 3 all the time! One time I had a clerk follow me around saying you better buy those things you opened as the twins were munching away!
